Structure Landscapes works exclusively with developers, property managers, councils, and landscape architects who need a commercial contractor with the experience to back it up — on program, on budget, without the noise.
We keep our focus tight. Four service areas, all commercial, all built around the same principle — do the job properly and let the work speak.
Scoped, priced, and delivered landscape construction for commercial property managers, developers, and institutional clients. Projects from $5K reactive works through to $40K+ programmed construction — managed with the same rigour regardless of size.
Programmed and reactive repair works for commercial property and public open space. Fast mobilisation, clear scope, documented completion. Available for after-hours and weekend works for urgent response — with quotes turned around quickly so you're not waiting.
Independent commercial advice for clients who need experienced oversight without a full-time resource. We currently provide retained consultancy services to a leading commercial playground equipment supplier — helping with pre-start facilitation, onsite issue management, and contractor oversight.
This is where our experience runs deepest and where we're deliberately building the business long-term. Over a decade of senior project management delivering council and developer open space projects — parks, playgrounds, streetscapes, and public realm — means we understand exactly what these projects demand.
Structure Landscapes is led by Rick Wilson — a landscape construction professional with over 15 years of commercial industry experience, including a decade as Project Manager at one of Victoria's largest commercial landscaping operations.
At his previous employer — one of Melbourne's largest commercial landscape contractors — Rick managed concurrent landscape construction projects ranging from $300K to $2.5M — working across local government, developers, educational institutions, and commercial property clients. He managed capital works programs across leading Australian universities, and led the delivery of commercial playground builds as a preferred installer.
Structure Landscapes was built on a simple idea — that commercial landscaping works better when the contractor understands both sides of the process. Rick brings over 15 years across construction and horticulture, meaning he can flag a design or construction issue before a project starts, not after it becomes a cost. That saves clients time and money, and it's how long-term relationships get built.
We take on one project at a time. Not because we can't scale — but because full commitment to your job produces a better result than spreading thin across five. We work with clients who want a contractor they can rely on — someone who communicates clearly, solves problems early, and genuinely cares about the outcome.
We meet on site, understand the program, and develop a clear scope. Every assumption is documented. Nothing is left to interpretation.
→A detailed, transparent quote with a realistic construction program tied to your milestones. Variations are flagged early — not raised at handover.
→Licensed crews, full supervision, regular client updates. We manage subcontractors, document hold points, and communicate problems before they become yours.
→Clean handover with full documentation, warranties, and as-built information. Twelve-month defects liability support as standard.
We are currently delivering commercial landscape works across greater Melbourne — commercial property, open space, and project consultancy. Photography is being compiled and will be updated here as works complete.
